What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, including browser local storage, can also store information on or access information from your device. This policy covers both cookies and similar technologies.

Our use of analytics and advertising technologies

Singletree does not operate its own advertising pixels, Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager on this website. We do not use the site to build advertising profiles or sell visitors’ browsing data.

Our hosting and security providers may process limited technical usage, deployment and security information needed to operate, protect and monitor the website. The booking calendar is supplied by Calendly and is handled separately as described below.

Strictly necessary cookies

Some cookies are required for the website to operate securely and correctly. These technologies are used without consent where the applicable legal exemption for strictly necessary storage or access applies.

• __cf_bm — Provider: Cloudflare. Purpose: helps identify and manage automated or potentially malicious traffic and protect the website. Duration: usually approximately 30 minutes.
• __dpl — Provider: website hosting and deployment platform. Purpose: helps route a visitor to the correct deployed version of the website. Duration: may remain for up to approximately one year.

Cookie names, durations and technical behaviour may be changed by the relevant provider. We review this information periodically.

Client portal sign-in

If you choose to sign in to the client portal, our authentication provider, Supabase, stores an authentication token in your browser’s local storage. This is used to maintain the signed-in session and is created only after you use the login functionality. It remains until the session expires, you sign out or the browser storage is cleared.

Clearing this local-storage item will sign you out of the portal.

Interface preferences

The website code includes support for storing certain user-interface preferences. No interface-preference cookie is currently set during ordinary use of the public website. If such a feature is enabled later, this policy will be reviewed before it is used.

Booking a meeting with Calendly

Our booking page uses Calendly, a third-party scheduling service.

The Calendly calendar does not load automatically. Before it loads, we display a notice explaining that Calendly and its providers may use cookies and tracking technologies. Calendly is connected only after you select ‘Load booking calendar’.

After you choose to load it, Calendly and its service providers may place or access cookies and other technologies. These may include security, fraud-prevention, scheduling, analytics and marketing technologies supplied by Calendly, Cloudflare, Stripe and other providers used by Calendly.

These third-party technologies are governed by the relevant providers’ privacy and cookie terms. Their precise cookie names and durations may change and are not controlled by Singletree.

You may choose not to load the embedded calendar. You can instead contact us directly or open the booking service on Calendly’s own website.

International processing

Some providers involved in hosting, security, authentication and meeting scheduling may process information outside the United Kingdom. Please see our Privacy Notice for further information about international processing.

Managing cookies and browser storage

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block cookies, delete existing cookies or receive a warning before a cookie is placed.

You can also clear local storage through your browser. Clearing authentication storage will sign you out of the client portal.

Blocking strictly necessary cookies or storage may prevent parts of the website from operating correctly.
